Student Work
A Teaching Practicum in Biology
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerIn the spring semester of 2014, I was a student teacher at Doherty Memorial High School located in Worcester, Massachusetts. This report discusses my foray into teaching at a public school with a very diverse student population. The classes I taught were two honors level freshman biology courses and one honors level physics course. As one of the most enriching experiences in my life, I was able to transfer my knowledge of these subjects to my students through creating bonds with them and getting them excited to learn.
