Car Sharing: A Feasibility Study in Hong Kong

open in viewerIn an effort to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution caused by private vehicles, this project, in collaboration with Friends of the Earth Hong Kong, aimed to determine the feasibility of expanding car sharing in Hong Kong. We used a transportation survey of car owners and non-owners, archival traffic pattern research, and an environmental and societal impact analysis to identify recommendations regarding transportation policies that could increase the use of car sharing in Hong Kong.
