Closing the Tap on American Southwest
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project is dedicated to increasing the awareness of the water situation in the Southwestern USA. The effects of global warming, increased population, and unchecked water usage has led to the current water crisis. The history of how water issues have been handled in the past is discussed, followed by an analysis of the state of the current water situation. Solutions to the problems addressed in previous chapters are scrutinized and evaluated. These solutions deal with the issues from a national level, working with laws and regulations, down to the personal level, such as watering lawns. A number of final solutions are proposed based upon previous evaluations.
