The Escuela Agrícola Cerrito is a technical agricultural high school located in Benjamín Aceval, Paraguay. The students and professors oversee the campus and its productive units. However, since the school lies on a slope, erosion has caused serious land degradation of the internal road and other stormwater management concerns. Although two previous IQP groups resolved some of these problems, many remain unaddressed. We first conducted investigations, interviews, and observations to understand the scope. Finally, we proposed and implemented various solutions. Specifically, we worked on the main internal road, the retention wall behind the hotel, the rock wall in front of the dining room, the walkway between the pool and the hotel, and a new retention wall of plants.
