The Effects of display setting in different visual perspectives on performance in games
PublicThe goal of this study is to assess the effects of display settings in different visual perspectives on performance in video games. Users played custom-built games in varying perspectives, tasks, frame rates, and resolutions, while gathering user performance and subjective opinions on display quality. The analysis finds that participants perform better in the 3rd person view than in the first person view during navigation and perform better for frame rates above 15 frames per second.
