Project assessment at Allegro Microsystems, Inc. -- an analysis of the creation of an operations manual

Public

Allegro Microsystems, Inc. manufactures integrated circuits by the process of etching silicon wafers. This process requires many different operations and precautions. These operations are all organized in different manuals and specifications, most of which are located at the specification center. The facilities operation manuals and specifications are not yet completely organized. This project designs a facilities manual to be used for support of the manufacturing environment. It also develops a system which organizes the information regarding the machines that are used in support of the facilities management and presents the desired data as needed. The format is designed to make it easy to use and update in the future.
