Moroccan Migration to Spain

open in viewerIn recent decades, a growing number of Moroccans have sought a better life in Spain as both skilled and unskilled workers. These migrants are vital to Spain's continued success and Morocco's economic prosperity. The growing problem of sub-Saharan Africans migrating via Morocco to Spain is a serious issue that both countries are working together on. Joint efforts on issues like migrants' rights, immigration policies and the role of migrants in society have tested the long-standing friendly relationship between them.
