The objective of this project was to design and implement test procedures to verify the integrity of the communication system of PANSAT under realistic conditions and determine a premium packet size for data communication. An attenuation network was designed from the link budget specifications and procedures for the packet loss testing were standardized, executed and the results were analyzed. A Morse code beacon was also designed using COTS. PANSAT is a part of the University Nanosat-3 program.
