The revitalization of the plaza at Cochiti Pueblo is to emphasize the traditional roots of Cochiti while providing the comfort of modern amenities. Our group digitally and physically modeled the Cochiti plaza as it was in 1952 and 2014 by creating 49 digital models and 64 3D printed models of past and current buildings. We performed an interactive presentation for members of the Pueblo. Our efforts resulted in the delivery of preservation tools for the Pueblo, as well as a step-by-step method to continue the process we initiated. The efforts of our group were intended to promote community participation and involvement in the revitalization effort, while ensuring that the 1952 and 2014 plaza buildings and layouts were preserved digitally and physically for posterity.
