open in viewerThe project’s goal was to address the lack of environmental sustainability education in the UK. Therefore, a workshop was developed and piloted to secondary school students in the UK, to improve their knowledge and interest in green skills and careers. Findings revealed significant increases in participants' familiarity with green skills and careers, with notable variations observed between different participating cohorts and schools. From these findings, the paper concludes with recommendations for the future use of the workshop and advocacy for policy reform. Additional outcomes included a teacher’s guide, a Google Drive containing workshop materials, and a published article.
