Engaging the Community: The Green Week Initiative

open in viewerAn increased interest in environmental conservation has prompted the city of Worcester, UK to initiate new methods of promoting sustainability. We expanded upon a Go Green Week model developed by the University of Worcester to promote sustainable practices, and strengthen the relationship between the University and the city of Worcester. Through collaboration with local businesses, charities and organizations that value sustainability, we engaged the community to support the City’s long-term goal of becoming a Transition Town.
