Golden Sucos Ltd. of Brazil is a fruit juice concentrate company that currently uses a large belt press that needs optimization. This belt press squeezes grape and apple (eventually peach as well) and collects the juice. This project will examine the current system and research ways of improving the output and cleaning methods of the machine. The results of this project will be implemented immediately on the machine so that it will be ready for next years' fruit crop.
