DNA fingerprinting is explained and explored. Procedures for obtaining, preserving and testing DNA, including their importance, are promulgated. Afterwards, landmark and sensational court cases involving DNA evidence are examined, as well as DNA databases, the breakthrough technology in DNA fingerprinting, and its pros and cons.
