This Major Qualifying Project will show infrared inclusion detection to be a viable technology, using LabVIEW to build a control system to process images, and control current. While this does not implement a complete prototype sensor it does yield a solid frame for further development once hardware and software issues are resolved. These problems arising from: the cost of DAQ hardware and software shortcomings with Vision.
