The Effects of Light Pollution in Hong Kong

open in viewerThe purpose of this project was to determine the perceived effects of light pollution on the residents of Hong Kong and to develop a set of recommendations for our sponsor, Friends of the Earth Hong Kong, to use in promoting better light pollution regulations. Through our fieldwork in Hong Kong and archival research we determined the sources of light pollution, the effects it might have on the residents, and ways to effectively reduce and manage excessive lighting in Hong Kong.
