Fast food has a long history, and its globalization has profound influence worldwide. This project will be focused on fast food restaurants that were invented in the United States to find out how popular they are in places experiencing overtourism. We used Venice as a representative of overtourism, in comparison to Worcester where there are fewer tourists. We found that 14% of restaurants in Venice and 57% of restaurants in Worcester serve American fast food, indicating that tourists do not prefer to eat fast food in Venice.
