The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is a measure of a student's potential for success during the freshman year of college. This project utilized the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Gordon's Cognitive Style Measure to obtain cognitive styles for a sample of students at WPI. This sample's SAT scores and freshman year grades were compared to test the College Board's claim that the SAT is indeed an indicator of first year college performance.

  • This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
