Understanding aspects of terrorism using simple dynamic models
PublicThe goal of this project is to develop simple computer models that depict different aspects of terrorism, specifically related to the frequency and severity of terrorist acts and the effects of different responses to terrorism on the terrorist population. For the sake of comparative analysis two real-life scenarios of the US-Afghanistan and Israel-Palestine conflicts will be simulated. A System Dynamics perspective will be used to enable users, through evaluating the model and accompanying report, to better understand the dynamics of terrorism.
