Ambulatory Work-Related Injuries and Health Problems

open in viewerThe goal of this project was to improve the overall safety of Emergency Medical Services personnel by reducing the number of injuries that occur within the field. The three solutions the team devised were to design a new device to maneuver patients down stairs, incorporate simulation training into the system, and include a fitness component to the program after EMTs become certified.
