Cluster queries in stream engines

Public

A spatio-temporal engine is a system that continuously evaluates spatio-temporal queries on location updates arriving via data streams. The results of the queries are outputted via a data stream to applications registered to receive the results of the queries. I implemented a new class of operators, called Cluster operators, for continuous evaluation of cluster-based queries on moving object updates. The operator was designed to be both efficient and extendable for future research.
