This project developed a fixture components database management and computer-aided fixture design system with Pro/ENGINEER, in which user could generate a visual picture image to simulate the actual fixture setup, simplify the fixture-designing process and reduce the non-production time. A written program was created using Pro/TOOLKIT, which followed by series of debug testing and modification throughout the project. Fixtures were design[ed] for four different workpiece models by using the program, that the result was successful.
