Games for Teaching CS Concepts
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal of this project is to develop a prototype for an educational video game that teaches children fundamental computer science (CS) concepts. In this game, the player solves a cooking task by assembling code blocks representing actions and food items. The focus of this game is to teach children about conditional statements, looping, and algorithms. While we were not able to conduct testing with our game, we prepared a test plan for future study on its teaching efficacy.
