Stormwater Costs
PublicContenu téléchargeable
open in viewerThe EPA governs a federal mandate known as the NPDES permit which was established to reduce nonpoint source pollution of stormwater. Our IQP team collaborated with a local stormwater coalition, the CMRSWC, to help towns better prepare for their future stormwater management. By examining budgetary information of three Massachusetts towns, our team was able to derive issues causing towns in the CMRSWC to struggle with NPDES permit compliance. From these findings, our team formed recommendations to help the CMRSWC optimize stormwater management.
