open in viewerThe purpose of this project is to create a program that enables dynamic control of MRDs for experimentation. A setup utilizing a single simply supported concrete bar and a drop tower was used to collect data and experiment with the effects of different control models for MRDs. LabVIEW was used to create a program to display the input from the sensors as well as the signal that the current model will send to the MRD. The program was designed to be adapted and modified by future users for civil engineering applications. The program was tested by student users and lab employees.
