Virtual Dr. Nim
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to develop a faithful, virtual recreation of Dr. Nim, the first game ever marketed as a “computer game”. This game was developed through a combination of programs, including the Unity game engine, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Adobe Illustrator. Virtual Dr. Nim was developed to imitate the original through the use of physics based gameplay in tandem with carefully triggered sound effects and the scripted rotation of the virtual binary switches. This report will detail the conception and process of developing the game, using the various aforementioned programs.
