Our project goal was to develop a methodology to improve the collection and storage of data regarding current and future Water Engineers for the Americas and Africa (WEFTA) projects which is currently collected and stored inconsistently. We created multiple dashboards, a database model, and a data entry form. We developed dashboards in ArcGIS and Tableau respectively. WEFTA is currently vested in ArcGIS, although they may consider exploring Tableau and a database management language, such as SQL, as more suitable options. Regardless of the software used, we recommend WEFTA display ten KPIs in the dashboard, including project location, costs, descriptions, and coordinators, as well as community population and number of healthcare facilities.
