A Study on the Effect of using Fantasy to Motivate and Engage Students
PubblicoThis report is about trying to find a way to improve how students learn math in games. We created a game and used fantasy as a way to get students interested in the material we were teaching them. Overall the game was successful as a proof of concept. Most students who played the game enjoyed it, even if they didn't like math in the first place, and almost all of the students said that they felt more comfortable with the topic we taught after having played the game.
