Pursuing Film Studies and Production at WPI
PublicThe goal of this project is to evaluate the current extent of film education offered at WPI, determine whether or not there is potential for expanding upon those offerings, and make recommendations on how to do so based on pedagogical standards of film education within the greater Massachusetts area and the nation at large. Primarily research driven, this project investigates other universities, various leading sources in film education, and the WPI student and faculty base to justify the expansion of film at WPI and create a plan for doing so which takes into consideration the needs, wants, and desires of the WPI community.
