Cellobiose Enzyme Hydrolysis for Ideal Glucose Production
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project examined the effects of cellobiose concentration, enzyme loading and other parameters in enzyme hydrolysis to yield maximum glucose. HPLC techniques were used to analyze the results of the experimental samples. It was observed that the cellobiose enzyme hydrolysis reaction process occurs very fast. The project determined the non-linear kinetics of the reaction, along with a suitable concentration range for continuing research. Recommendations were made outlining the steps to ensure future success for maximum glucose production via enzyme hydrolysis.
