The goal of this project was to create distributed applications for the Distriblet framework developed by previous MQP groups. After conducting extensive background research on various Internet-wide distributed computing frameworks and existing distributed applications, we designed and implemented two applications using the Distriblet system: an Internet Performance Test application and a Scheduling application using genetic algorithms. We conducted testing and performance measurements to analyze the effectiveness of these applications in the Distriblet system.
