The Massachusetts State Police currently use a paper based evidence tracking system. Our group was assigned the task of extending the functionality of a web based system designed by a previous MQP group as well as designing an application that would reside on mobile data terminals in the cruisers. This application would further extend the evidence tracking from the barracks into the field and will integrate with the web based system in order to create a seamless evidence collection process.
