Universal security module
PublicThere is a growing demand for wireless data communications. This necessitates the ability to keep sensitive information secure and to maintain a unique, verifiable, digital identity across multiple computing platforms. Problems arise from cryptographic algorithms that are too intensive for most handheld computers and from difficulties in sharing digital identities between host computers. The Universal Security Module solves both issues by providing cryptographic processing support in a portable, self contained unit that can interface with most systems used for communications.
