The purpose of my Major Qualifying Project was to do a stress calculation analysis. Galaxy Power Inc., designs and manufactures DC-DC voltage converters. They produced a prototype device, the Sirius, and needed that voltage converter to be analyzed. My job was to calculate different types of stress to each component in the Sirius.
