This project, sponsored by General Dynamics Communication Systems, is an implementation of Kerberos key distribution within an SNMPv3 environment. MIT Kerberos version 5 was chosen for incorporation into a program from a previous SNMPv3 MQP. The key distribution was tested for security, performance, and reliability. Kerberos was recommended as a potential solution for secure SNMPv3 key distribution for General Dynamics.
