PANSAT power subsystem
PublicThis project has created a fully functional power subsystem for WPI's PANSAT satellite. The system collects power from solar panels, extracts this power using a SEPIC converter to charge a bank of batteries for storage, and regulates the output from the batteries to supply the proper power for the other PANSAT subsystems. A control circuit is connected to the SEPIC to adjust its duty cycle with the changing battery voltage and initialization circuitry is included for flight computer start up.
- This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
