Multi-functional autonomous solar-hydrogen robot
PublicWe designed, constructed, and tested an autonomous mobile sensing platform. This platform, a versatile and modular device, is designed to be easily adaptable for a variety of applications, while showcasing emerging technologies: solar cells, regenerate fuel cells, and EDLCs. This device is designed for extended operation, utilizing an RTOS to control appropriate operational modes based on availability of solar energy. In order to optimize our design, we characterized the fuel cells and solar cells and performed FEA on the chassis.
