In-process inspection & quality control

The objective of this project was to propose improvements for data collection and analysis at the in-process inspection workstation of Bunzi Extrusion-Northborough. A correlation analysis was performed to reveal the relationship between out-of-control points recorded in-process and rejected project. A time study was conducted to determine the least time consuming inspection procedures. Recommendations include the selection of particular statistical process control hardware and software system as well as improvements to inspection methods.
