Pedaling Towards An E-Bike Fleet for GLAC Staff
Pubblico DepositedContenuto scaricabile
open in viewerGlacier National Park’s current Red Bike fleet is aging quickly. An e-bike alternative can provide staff with more accessible low-carbon transportation within the park. Our goal was to evaluate the feasibility of an e-bike fleet service for Park staff. Our team conducted a literature review, participant observation, focus groups, and interviews with Park staff and vendors. We created recommendations about maintenance, sourcing, removable batteries, and staff safety, and created a multi-phase plan for implementing e-bikes into Glacier National Park.
