Neuroblastoma has been modeled by the use of perfusion- based bioreactors to study the progression of cancer. The goal for this project was to create a cell collection device that can capture metastatic like cells from circulation within a perfusion based bioreactor. The team created a system which utilized pluriStainer filters in line with the bioreactor system. Our Professional Writing project focused on analyzing faculty and student perceptions of the teaching of writing in the BME department through faculty and student surveys, interviews, and focus groups. We investigated writing intensive courses and completed a review of similar universities' Biomedical Engineering departments.
