Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerFrom the introduction of rail to the historic city of Venice in 1846 to the introduction of diesel boats in 1934, the city has continually adapted its transportation system to technological advances and historical events. This project details the history of transportation in Venice, documents the current state and limitations of the public transportation system in 2022, and explores the possibilities and benefits of a new underwater subway system. We created an online repository of information documenting the research and analysis done for this project.
