open in viewerThe goal of this project was to identify promising strategies and locations for decarbonizing urban areas in Australia rapidly and equitably. We identified and analyzed international case studies, with different policies or technologies to reduce carbon emissions in urban areas. Then, we performed multi-criteria analysis, utilizing ArcGIS software, to identify Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Australia that would be appropriate locations for the policies and technologies examined in the case studies.
