Implementing an Electrical Retrofit at the Institute of American Indian Arts
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerHaving made a strong commitment to reducing its contribution to global climate change, Santa Fe’s Institute of American Indian Arts faces the challenge of implementing its 2050 Climate Action Plan. Our group collaborated with key staff members to plan and install a system of electrical metering for their campus and to implement low-risk, cost-effective building retrofits, such as LED replacements for their current lighting. Having taken these steps, and equipped with analytical tools developed by the project team, the IAIA is now well-positioned to systematically reduce electricity use, costs and carbon emissions across the campus.
