Biotelemetry in pulse oximetry

Public

This MQP investigated how biotelem[e]try could be applied to a pulse oximeter and a global positioning system (GPS). The project was intended to be a proof of concept to show that patient's blood oxygen saturation levels could be transmitted along with data regarding the patient's location. The following report discusses the design of a pulse oximeter to measure a patient's blood oxygen saturation level. The design of the wireless transmitter is to be included in a future MQP.
