Theory Assistant is an educational tool created to help students with Deterministic Finite Automata, Nondeterministic Finite Automata, and regular expressions. Its abilities include the creation of these machines, running them on specified inputs, DFA completion, and conversions. It was created as a client/server program so that it may be used as part of WPI's introduction to theory course, Foundations of Computer Science.
