This project, which was done in conjunction with the Harvard Conservation Trust (HCT), consists of seven suitable brook-crossing designs in accordance with environmental regulations. To carry out the project we obtained information through research of construction materials, laws within our scope, and environmental agencies. We conducted field visits, interviews, and used basic design standards to develop the footbridges. The result of our efforts is the design of a footbridge, which is an aid to the HCT in their goal of connecting two parcels of conservation land separated by Bowers Brook.
