AD62x instrumentation amplifier evaluation board

Public

The goal of this project is to design a convenient and cost effective evaluation board for testing eight specifications of three different high precision instrumentation amplifiers (in-amps) manufactured by Analog Devices, the AD620, AD623, and the AD627. The objective is to produce a 2x2 inch, two-sided printed circuit board (PCB) that is designed to accommodate necessary test circuitry for all three in-amps. The board will include additional circuitry, resistors or capacitors, to help perform high accuracy tests (gain non-linearity and settling time) without requiring any off-board precision circuitry. Another important topic to consider is proper design practice so the actual performance of the im-amps will not be compromised by the circuitry included on the evaluation board itself.
