Voice browsing the internet

Public

The natural step in the evolution of information browsing technology is to provide a voice interface that augments the Internet's graphical interface. This project describes the usefulness of speech-enhanced web browsing, the current state of this art and its deficiencies. New approaches are discussed that endeavor to solve these drawbacks. Finally, a particular architecture is described in detail and showcased by a working prototype. Potential future work for the project is then defined, including interoperation with a real-time "Media Server."
