open in viewerIn this project it was our goal to identify ways in which Nypro China could reduce its impact on the environment while producing a cost savings. While observing the company's green initiative we took a number of steps to identify waste streams within Nypro China. Each of these waste streams: Resin, Water, and Electricity all yielded a cost savings through short-term and long-term goals with the company. These goals were realized with the use of the Six Sigma: DMAIC process to help Nypro China reduce its impact on the environment and produce a considerable cost savings.
