PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerPhilosophy and Technology is a college-level course designed to study the metaphysical and ontological aspects of technology. The goal of this course is to make students aware of society's dependency on technology, what technology is, and where technology came from. Students are expected to learn this course through lectures, reading assignments and group projects. This course will discuss in depth the definition of technology. It is this course's objective to make students realize that technology is self-evolving, not chronological, political and economical. Ultimately, philosophy and technology will show that in our efforts to gain control, we have actually lost control.
