Improving the Sustainability of the Regional Environmental Council Food Justice Program

open in viewerThe sustainability of non-profit organizations has greatly decreased following the recent economic downturn. Specifically, the Regional Environmental Council (REC) Food Justice Program of Worcester, Massachusetts identified the need to increase the financial stability of the organization through the appropriate implementations. We developed recommendations that offer direction for the REC to improve the sustainability of the organization, which is imperative for the organization to continue providing the necessary services and products to the Worcester community.
